OK, the bubbler pump is wired from the load side of the relay. But got the problem fixed (or more appropriately, it went away). When this problem surfaced initially, I turned off/on the breaker to the control panel on the EasyTouch panel in addition to all the other breakers on that panel. This time I turned off the breaker to the pool equipment at the house service panel before I took the EasyTouch front panel off. When I powered everything up again, I was able to control the bubbler pump thru the app. Not sure why its now working (other than it got "hungup" somehow) and why it took turning off/on the service breaker to get it going again.
I am a little hesitant to change the wiring to the bubbler pump to the line side. I can turn the bubbler pump on/off thru one of the AUX buttons on the EasyTouch front panel and I am thinking that the way they set this up is that they needed to use that relay to do that. I am headed back north in a couple of weeks and don't want to change the wiring now to see if that is the case.
For the first 5 years I have had this pool (the only one I have ever owned), I relied on someone else to clean it and fix it. So I never did have to figure that out for myself. That got old and frustrating and now I am doing that myself (except when I am up north). Your help on this problem has furthered my understanding of my pool and how it works. Thanks Jim R and JamesW!
