UGH, just ordered it yesterday with my HP. Well if it doesn't work as it should, I will return it for a refund. Hopefully you are happy with the HP.Skip it, it never works. I would even consider other options.
Stainless steel should hold up better. The issue is the nylon rubs against the stone, and the steel cable develops rust, leading to the break.
You have to watch the different ads, they aren't really doing the best job showing what it has, its similar to the beatbox aquasense ultra I believe without some of the bells and whistles. It has the sensor to detect the main drain and in theory go around it, they have that in a video. In theory it scans the pool using sonar or something similar so it can map the pool and actually get every part.I have a Dreame for the house, it does a very good job. No idea on the pool cleaner. Looking at the website for this device, it does not seem like it has any features that make me like it more than an Aiper S1 which is half the price.
Really appreciate! Below screenshot is what I have changed based on your suggestion. Thanks!Jerry,
To turn on pump #2 you will need to turn on the "jets" circuit. You really should not be doing this while the spa is heating.. I would use the jets after the spa gets up to the initial temp you want. You can adjust the speed of pump #2 to match how you want the jets to work.
Just to be sure.. When you turn on pump #1, pump #2 should NOT come on.. Just want to make sure the two pumps have two different RS-485 addresses..
Thanks,
Jim R.
My reasons for the shallow is because I am 5’0” and not getting any taller (and will probably get shorter as I age). I can’t comfortably sip a cocktail standing in 4’ pool. This will be my probably forever home. I want to build this pool for me and not for the occasional guest. I understand that for most adults, this is a bit shallow.3.5' is a bit too shallow. I'd suggest 4' for the shallow end.
6' is an awkward depth since it's too deep to stand, but too shallow for diving, etc. I'd suggest 5' for the "deep" part of your pool.

We have gone back and forth about the stadium steps. We love them and we don’t plan on doing laps. It’s more of a hangout pool. We were more concerned with the shallow area it eats up. Thank you for your input!E,
Nothing to do with your proposal, but I don't like your stairs..
If you ever plan to do 'laps' in the pool, you only have one end..
I suggest that you add smaller stairs next to your sun-deck so that you can do laps.
And you also might think about going with a sports pool, so that you can do things like volleyball. Deep in the middle and shallow at both ends.
Thanks,
Jim R.
I have a SWG but my PB also installed a tablet feeder "for free" which I thought I would use during the winter.Interesting. The check value is listed as “chemical resistant” - is that still expected to eventually fail? What is the alternative?
It is a saltwater generator pool, the tablet feeder is just a backup.
Feedback about a check valve instead of 3-way for the heater bypass is interesting, thanks to all who pointed it out.
All the more reason to use fresh calibrating solutions to calibrate an infrequently used pH meter.Once your color perception is calibrated, you can mostly use the drop test with only periodic confirmation by the meter.
