Do you have distilled water? Fill the pH tube 1/2 way with distilled water, then fill the rest with pool water. Test and post picture of pH.
Go to pool math, gear in upper right, scroll to bottom and enable sharing with TFP.
Haven't seen a response - should I just wait? I don't need to decide until the end of July - DougI vote drain. What does @RDspaguy say?
My apologies it took me a minute to figure out how to reduce the images. Lol62,
If your pump does not have a control head that has a display, or buttons, then you must have an app of some type that will control the speed of the pump.
Show us a pic of the pump you have..
Thanks,

Yep that's the one I was looking at. Thank you for the real-world advice. I'll have to see if any of my local pool stores will do a loaner.Loki,
I had the Dolphin Premier and I doubt it will do what you want..
Does it look like this...?

If so, it has two small suction slots and very small filters... It is a 10 or 15 year old design...
I've moved on to the EVO, but I am not sure it would work for what you have.. Seems like the cones would just get jammed up in the suction ports...
New EVO 614i Robot Pool Cleaner Review
About a month ago I needed a new robot pool cleaner and I contacted Margaret at Marina Pool and Spa. My initial goal was to buy another S200 "style" robot as I have been happy with them so far. Margaret suggested that I might want to look at a new line of robot cleaners that Marina is now...www.google.com
Not sure it is even possible, but I would try to find someone local that will let you try out their robot for a couple of days.. Some Pool Stores have loaners.. Unfortunately, the only way to know for sure if a robot will work, or not, is to actually try it...
Thanks,
Jim R.
Even if the pH is below 7?Swimming is safe between min FC and slam for your CYA. You also need to be able to see the floor well enough for a disabled swimmer resuce should the need arise.
If you have those 2 covered, you're safe to swim.
I measured with an old K-1000. Got 0 Cl. I guess it's not green only due to lack of sunlight. Better close that tile until next weekend when I open the pool.Dunno.
OK, finally got my test kit in the mail and figured out how to use it. Showing chlorine is super high, pH is low and Alkalinity is high. pH is 7.2...range should be between 7.2-8.0, why does the app want me to get up to 7.6? Under Total Alkalinity it is telling me to reduce pH to 7.0-7.2 (it is a 7.2 now) and then aerate to increase pH. I don't know what "aerate" means but the app is telling me to raise my pH by adding Borax and then lower it back to where I am at?Correct the kit is still in the mail. I took a sample in to the local pool store and that was the results from Monday night. Using an old test strip, it looked like just the chlorine was off. Adding more chlorine today.
I didn't have a coupling on hand, just got back from Home Depot with all the parts. The socket is indeed less (1.375), so I'm good to go. Thanks.Measure the socket on a coupling. I seem to recall its less.
TA is now 60 and pH is 7.2. Time to swim! Ty!Raise your TA with baking soda to 60. Test pH 30 minutes later. If 7.0 or above, leave it. If not, use borax to raise pH to 7.4.
