Did my test today and here are the results
Free Chlorine 2.8 ppm
Combined Chlorine .4 ppm
PH 7.8
Total Alkalinity 90ppm
Calcium Hardness 80ppm
CYA 0-20 ( couldn’t get a true reading)

Hummm. I'm not familiar with that brand, but if it's worked for you in the past, you would think it should still be good. With all the repetitive tear-downs and inspections you've done, I don't see how sand is making past the laterals into the pool.

This picture shows a low salt error with the cell light off. The cell will not produce with a low salt condition, thus the cell light will be off.



This picture shows the cell at some production rate with the cell light on. Have you tested the actual salinity with a known good kit? If not you need to, it’s impossible to diagnose a cell without having a concrete baseline of what the salinity actually is. If you have please post the salinity numbers you have tested.

We have a Hayward XStream Full-Flo Element Filter System. The pressure putting the new cartridge in as about 15. As of tonight, 3 days later, it was probably 16.

Maybe some of your mates are around @AUSpool @aussieta since we don't see that valve in North America.

The water must be going someplace.

Stop adding more water and see at what level the pool water stabilizes. That indicates where the leak is.

This shows CELL and FLOW being green, indicating the cell is generating.

Have you called Pentair Support and discussed the way your cell is behaving?

There are a lot of ways you can kludge together some automation.

I would install a Pentair IntelliCenter that meets all your needs and would be much less integration work.

So new update kinda of. My salt LED light started working again for a few minutes then went off again and now I have this new like light next to the output amount all the way to the left

I don't have any direct experience but J&J has a good reputation, and Hayward acquired them.

Agreed I think I was under 2k when combining with a pump. Im looking forward to the automation that it'll include with the expanded platform..I don't have pool automation today. Im desperate for being able to monitor the pump if possible. What's happening now with the heater is if flow isn't high enough heater turns off. So for example I just took apart and cleaned my de filter. Added fresh de. Pool is spotless and solar cover is on it. Left the house for dinner with pump set to 1800 rpms...heater ran for an hour. At dinner I saw it stopped flowing.....so had to go home and now increase to 2000 rpms and heaters on again...

Wish I could control all of this remotely
