Have you done an overnight chlorine loss test? Just because you don't SEE any algae doesn't mean you don’t have something in there eating up your chlorine. I would try the overnight test outlined in the SLAM process to see if you actually have algae or not.

I assume I test the solution as if it is the pool water? By that I mean, I would still add the R-0013 and follow the same directions for the CYA test as the TF-100 kit shows?

If your water is cloudy, then you are not done SLAMing. Must meet all 3 criteria to be done SLAMing.

Be patient, I know its hard. My pool didnt look nearly as bad as yours did at the start of the SLAM and my SLAM lasted almost 14 days. Stick with it and good luck!

Make sure you have an accurate CYA test! If not, you may not be SLAMing at the correct FC level therefore causing the SLAM to take longer than normal. Trust me, I speak from experience :mrgreen:
