PH 7.5
TA 50
CYA 60
SALT 3100

Noticed my CSI is -0.74

I’m currently working to bring my CYA up tp 70.
Just bought baking soda that I will be adding to raise my TA.
Thoughts on my CH? Do I need to raise?
Was told salt should be around 3400 so I may add 1 more bag of salt.

Just wanted to run my numbers by the experts before I did anything. Thanks

Your CSI will drop a little more with adding stabilizer as well. Unless your local water is exceptionally hard which would increase CH relatively quickly, I would look at increasing the CH to at least 250-300. Until you can do that, let the pH rise up to about 7.8 and increase the TA to 80 and that should level-out your CSI to about -0.19. I did those calculations based on a water temp of 84. As your water temp increases, so will the CSI, so watch that as well. Once you increase the CH a bit, then you can bring the pH and/or TA down a bit as required. The PoolMath tool is your friend. :goodjob:

Whats the best way to raise CH?
According to Pool Math, I need to dump 25lbs of calcium chloride in the pool to go from 200 to 300.
Recommend levels show CH from 350-400, why just get it to 300?

Also, how do I add to pool? Just scatter around the pool edges, dump in deep end, etc...?
