Is this a good price ..

What type of waterfall are you considering? Options range from sheer descents coming off of the pool wall to large rock structures. Some of the downsides include noise, added aeration, and calcium scale build-up where water is constantly splashed. The article below should help you out a bit.

Not sure yet. Thank you!

Waterfall may require upsizing the filter/pump or installing a separate water features pump.

Refer to the Waterfall Installation Manuals you are considering for flow and filter requirements.

74,

I just had to have a waterfall wall.. Something I really wanted..

That was about 12 years ago.. We used it a few times, until the newness wore off..

It has been shut off for at least 10 years now..

Too loud when it looked good.

Was just in the way, when we wanted to use our floats...

Not everything that 'looks' nice is functional.

I would not do it again.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Things get murky here. The Mrs got to experience it and made up her mind it wasn't for her. Had she not known because you said she couldn't have one......... she'd forever assume she was shortchanged. :ROFLMAO:

Sometimes a mistake is less headache.

In fairness to the sexes, I did not like my heat pump and was happy I knew. Without it, I'd always want one.

Anyone have a waterfall feature in their pool? If so where and do you like? My wife is asking about it.
I have 3 sheer decent under the wall ledge. we use it when we have company over but not too often.

So this is the heater my pool guy is providing. Does not seem to have best reviews over the internet. Thoughts?

Is there another Hayward heater in this range that well reviewed? Thanks

Most pool heater reviews suck. It is what it is.

Be there when they get there.

Ask to see the plans they have. Make sure they are for YOUR pool (yes we have seen them dig the wrong pool in a yard  )

As soon as they say they are done go out there with the plans and a tape measure. Is it long, wide, deep, etc enough? Add about 8" for the steel, rebar, and plaster.

what do you think you will do the most in the pool? Float with a drink in your hand? Have kids? They are going to want to at least cannon ball into the pool. It is really all about how you will use the pool. Let us know and we can go from there.

You're absolutely right, but it's hard to gauge. I mean I'm sure we're going to have kids over as I have a 4-year-old so I guess a happy medium between a deep end and a shallow end I guess
