thanks all...unfortunately I turned the lid 180 degrees before seeing last post. So I guess I need to redo and turn -90 degrees ?Is there something definitive I can look at on the lid ? Is it simple enough to say that install itso handle will never allow pump inlet to be in off position ?

thanks Jim. The handle will not move that way, so is it as simple as removing the screws, and turning the lid/handle 180 degrees ? the valve housing is fine as is ?

Actually it was specific to the Orbi network connectivity problems and that the connection should be to modem vs wifi, otherwise there are occasional connectivity losses... I did ask him that a second time saying "router not modem correct" and he then said " .. "yeah, modem"...I left it at that...

While in STandby mode the ET will not change the mode to pool or spa when heat is called for. Jim R. You are correct, the unit was wired as 2 wire switch option. Unfortunately my ET does not send the "off signal" so the heater just continues to run till it hits the set temp per heater...
