Hope you get the pool to your liking, the decking I don't really "see" a big issue (but not my pool) but the tripping breaker would be a big issue and others have mentioned other appliances and such.... Your pool pumps and such should be on their own dedicated circuit vs. sharing with ANYTHING...

I would tell you that #3 will be great to hide the dust/dirt as it AMAZING how much ends in the texture of the coating, especially since you have dogs. That being said, while it will be cooler than bare concrete the color will be hotter than the lighter color(s). I would have liked the darker...

You need to keep an eye on your pool chems, balance and be ready to use a pumice or what we used EarthStone Pool LINK PoolStone Ceramic Tile Cleaner - Pool Surface Scrubber Works well, will help to remove any buildup you WILL get with our very hard water and evaporation.

Very nice final product and we did climbing vines (cats claw) to soften the block wall look on ours.
