Pentair Warrior SE vs. Dolphin S200

Pentair warranty website does not differentiate between the Warrior models.
It lists it as:
Warrior® Inground Cleaner2 Years

If anyone knows otherwise , let us know.
I just ordered my SE from Margaret at Marina Pools this morning! FedEx shows 2 day delivery.
Feels like Christmas! Nice to have a distraction these days.

You will like it, pretty much unbox, connect a few cables and let it run. You have a place to put the power supply planned out?

I bought a warrior SE from Margaret also and it’s been great. I didn’t get a caddy but don’t need one. The SE stays under the shade of the deck near the pool right by the plug and I mounted the controller on the wall under the deck. The Warrior SE is light and easy to to carry after you drain the water from it. The big lift is getting it from the pool to the deck. It does a fine job cleaning the pool, although I usually brush the steps and seats in my pool. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat.

Since my pool is small, I am not planning on leaving it in all the time. I want to see only pool and no cleaner. My RayVac would constantly hit you in the ankle bone like it was laser driven if it was running when you were in the water. Ancient technology plus some pain just for good measure!

My pool faces south and the Texas sun is brutal mid-late summer. I don't have a well shaded area or overhang near the pool pad to protect the Warrior SE. Planning on storing it in the garage a few steps away. I have a rolling dock cart from my sailing days that should work well to get it back and forth. I’ll either put it on something to lift it off of it’s treads or put it on it’s side, which Margaret suggested. Appreciate all the comments and suggestions!

The hardest part is from water to deck while the water drains out but after that it's lite.
I do wish you could disconnect the cable off the clearer but understand why they didn't do it.

Sometimes I think it's human, it will go over by my dog and climb and drive him nuts.
What was that old movie about machines coming to life, just remember the AC/DC song who made who :)

Got my SI today this is my first pool cleaner of any kind and I am stoked on so much about it. Very easy to use and seems to crank through the pool without a lot of issue. Did struggle on the deep end walls, there are some curves in there that must have thrown it off. Also got hung up on our retrofit drain cover that protrudes an inch or so, although it did eventually find it's way off after a few minutes. The App is pretty basic, you can drive it around but I didn't buy a robot to drive it around. Maybe not worth the $50 but we will see. Hope this puppy will make my weekends much more enjoyable.

Does the warrior SE climb and clean your walking ledge, steps, and built in seating?

JW,

No robot on earth will clean ledges, steps or seating.

Their main job is to clean the floor, walls and waterline tile.

Most people just brush off the ledges, steps and seating into the main pool and then let the robot do its thing.

Thanks

Jim R.

It does climb them but doesn’t clean them well or consistently. It goes over and above the ledge very well and cleans above it. I hit the seats and steps with the brush every few days but the ledge is usually clean. It has gotten stuck on the step twice but never in the seat or anywhere else.

Ordered the si on Friday afternoon (around 3) and it was delivered today before noon. That some service! Every time I called Marina I was able to speak with Margaret. She said that I didn't need the basket modification with the SI so idk. Storming all day today so I can't play with it until tomorrow.

I wondered if it comes with them..I got the upgrade but they were already installed and it didn't look like the box was opened?
