Which Intelliflo Should I get?

Looking to switch to a variable speed pump in conjunction with adding an IC60 and probably ScreenLogic2.
I've narrowed it down to these three options:
Intelliflo VS 011018
Intelliflo VS 011028 (newer version of 011018?)
Intelliflo VSF 011056

From what I've read here, the variable flow isn't all that useful for most. But the VSF pumps seem to be a little less expensive at most places. Is there a reason NOT to
go with the VSF even if I don't plan to utilize the variable flow function?
Are there any significant differences between the 011018 and the 011028?

Do you want to replace your pool pump and both of the Spa Jet pumps?

No, just the main circulation pump. Plan to keep the spa pumps for now.

The 011018 is the older version. Great pump. the 011028 is the new basic version. I believe you can rotate the control pad.
The 011056 VSF to our knowledge has no down sides. For 99% of the pools, the Flowrate control is not needed.

The 011028 is the new basic version. I believe you can rotate the control pad.

Yep you can rotate and wall mount (with relocation kit), but not needed since you have IntelliCenter. I also got Pentair Intelliflo Pump Motor Cover to protect it from the elements.

I think you will find the 011056 is the most available. Pentair seems to have phased out the 011028 pump to simplify their supply chain.
