What's your current pool temp?

82 degrees. Closing autocover except when swimming to retain heat.

Got a bunch of cold rain this weekend. water temp 78.
Looking like last monday might have been the last swim day of the season.
Usually by the 3rd week of sept it's just not economical to keep heating it.

We didn't experience any heat waves this year like the rest of the country.
I had less swim days this year than any year prior.

Water temp 88. Air temp under my shade sails 95. Air temp in the open yard is approximately 8 kabillion degrees. 12 kabillion once the sun actually rises.

88 is fine for me (78 is fine!) but I've been fighting an RA flare for 3 weeks while I get on a new medication, and can't even negotiate my steps to get in! Haven't even seen my pool in that time -- hubby's been taking care of it and bringing me pictures.

Today, though, I might feel good enough to hobble out there just to look at it.

Had to put the cover on. Once it gets to low 80's it is too cool for us.

Daytime air temps still in low 100's. But night time temps in to the upper 70's.

I think we squeezed in the last swim for the season. Water 86, air 76. Forecast calls for temps in the low 70s during the day but as low as 48 overnight for the next week or so. ?
