Managed to squeak 90 out of the solar today, it's been really cloudy the last few days, need more sun to help keep it above 90 for as long as possible. Eventually the cover will come out but I hate using the cover because I find that I don't swim as often once it's on.

I hear you soon I will have to put the pool cover on in order to keep the pool warm

Hey you Florida peeps

First, I am jealous, because after the most boring and non-sunny Pacific NW summer we finally gave up the good fight and covered . I have never had such a terrible swimming summer since putting our pool in. Anyhow, we are going on vacation to WDW in a few days and I am a little torn on paying for the pool heat. Temps are 83-88/64-71 and the pool faces SW. We are used to swimming temps of 78-82 here. You think the pool would sit in that range without heat?

Hot, dry summer in the Oho River Valley- perfect for a first year pool owner! Pulled the solar cover on after pleasant weekend and have the heat pump at 84°. Will be back in the swim this weekend and next week. 1569513032360.png

I think we squeezed in the last swim for the season. Water 86, air 76. Forecast calls for temps in the low 70s during the day but as low as 48 overnight for the next week or so. 😭
Similar here in Michigan. I've bumped it up to about 86 the last few weekends, but with overnight lows down in the 50's and even upper-40's, she fell all the way down to about 72 over the course of this week.... and with the air-temp high's only forecast for about 70 this weekend, I think it's time to officially call it a season and just let it drift down to closing temps. Boo.

a whopping 63 this AM. With over night lows of -6 C and up to 50cm (for you south of the border thats almost 1.5 feet) of snow forecast in some areas. Luckily I am out of the snow area (y) Gonna be cold winterizing the pool this weekend.

We've been in the 90's all week with mid 90's forecast for the weekend here in NC. Water temp just under 80 (I get a lot of shade and it's been in the 60's at night).
Looks like at least 1 more weekend of pool time!
Bosley, I can't even imagine....

Water temp is 72 still nice but cold front approaching with lows forecast in the high 40's in the next few days.
That is going to bring the water temp down.

We are in Orlando. Our pool is screened and faces south. We do not have a heater and water temp was 83 today. You should be fine.

Tonight my son is having a pool party after their homecoming dance.... about 7 couples. Assuming they get here about 10:30-11:00, the air temp will be around 70 tonight and water temp will be about 85. If its anything like last year, the boys will be roughousing in the pool while the girls will be huddeled in the hot tub taking selfies.
Ahhh to be young again.

87.7 degrees this morning and looking forward to a hot day today
Brrrrrr  you know last year that temp was fine, running my pool at 95 all summer and now I'm complaining when it's 90 like it was this morning. Up to 94 now, and that is probably the high for today and now it's nice again :snorkle::swim::paddle:
