I bought a new house that came with a 27 foot round above ground pool. It has a Hayward s166t sand filter. The gauge shows no pressure and the sight glass is empty while running the pump. Any suggestions?

The site glass is normally empty unless you are running in the backwash position.. If you have water coming out of the pool returns (Eyeballs) then your pressure gauge is bad.
If you have no water going back to the pool, then I doubt the pump is running, or at least moving any water. What do you see when you look down through the pump cover???
