I have an IC40 SWCG and am having to add about 3oz of muriatic acid every 2-3 days to keep my PH around 7.6. Pool is 8 months old. Anyone use the Pentair PH controller pumps that plugs into the intellicenter? Thanks!!

Most saltwater pools like their pH to be about 7.8.. I suggest you let it sit at 7.8 and see how long it takes to get to 8.0 and then drop it back..

Yes...I am adding ~3 oz of acid every 2-3 days to keep the PH around any number below 8. So 7.8 is better? Everything I have read states 7.6 is better. I prefer lower PH as it keeps my eyes from getting irritated while swimming for some reason. Is there a more 'accurate' PH test other than color test? Thanks.
