Paint old Hayward heater?

Has anyone ever painted a old Hayward heater with high heat paint? It's really ugly and I want to paint it with a tan high heat paint.

Yes. Just be aware that painting large, flat surfaces to get a nice finish is not as easy as it looks unless you are an experienced painter. Surface prep is very important.
