New Pool Build In Progress - IG Vinyl

My daily loss fell of a cliff. It burned strong until 2 weeks ago 60% all summer in the full sun then 40% and 20% a week apart. Now a week later 20% is overproducing and fall showed up with 60 degrees. I'll probably just shut it off and turn it on for a day as needed.
That's kind of what I'm thinking, I might just shut it off for a day. It's supposed to be back in the upper 80's this weekend so we will probably be using the pool.

Listen UP folks. I'd like to point out Aftrshok's cool new badge. I normally would never take a private message public, but Y'alls should know how he feels about you.

And I quote.

I did what I could right now donation wise. This is a great site with a metric S*** TON of help and friendly people.

To all who have helped, we are proud of your contributions making this place nothing short of AMAZING. Keep up the GREAT work !!!!

Personally, I'm even prouder of the friendly part. Lots of places can offer help, but to be warm and friendly about it means we all have a blast along the journey, both the helpers and helpees.

TFP pool all the way….can see the bottom from 50’ away!!
So we all 'work' for free around here, but there are 2 ways for folks to pay us in feels.

One, is when they feel the need to help pay it forward. (Done, and THANKS again). It really means alot to us as it means we went above and beyond with our help.

Two, is when they officially join the 'club'

You, good sir, have earned your wings and are ready to fly. Kindly get some good pics and post them where they rightfully belong. 👇

How Clear is TFP Clear?

That. Is. Lookin. GREAT !!!!!!!

Really looks stunning. Congrats. 😍

Thank you both!!!!

We had a storm come through Saturday evening, needed the rain. At least I didn't end up with 7 bales of hay in my pool like someone else...Cough Cough Newdude...LOL

I'm not using pool math to track my additions or numbers currently since I'm having issues with it. So I just keep notes on my pc.
Last night Ph 7.5 (only took a gallon of Muriatic Acid to get it to finally move).
TA is still high at 165 but I suspect it will slowly come down now.
FC is at 8 which is near my target.
Chlorinator is running at 20% (24/7), I need to go ahead and drop it down some more.

Now THAT is what it is all about!!! That looks SO pretty! This is what all of your effort and time got you! WELL DONE!
Thank you sooooo much!! Now I just need to do some power washing on the house, general cleanup and get a fence installed between the shop and house.

Went ahead and dropped SWCG down to 10%, might need to go lower. FC was right at 9.5 ppm last night and my Ph was back up to 8.2. After FC drops I'll check Ph again. TA was at 176. Why does my water have to be so stubborn. Hate county water!!!

What's the saying? "A frog in the skimmer a day keeps the algae away?" yep that's it!!!
Does that work for Toad's too? I have a million toads in my yard but not frogs...I'm counting on several of them making their way to the pool when it gets built.

Hang in there! You'll get it dialed in...just in time to close for the winter :ROFLMAO:. Just keep following advice on here and you'll be fine.
