How clear should my water be? A very common question. Here is mine on a calm morning where I could finally vacuum. Yes I know, I'm still manually vacuuming. It took me 7 years to finally get an SWG, I'm working on a robot. So now let's see your water clarity.

The things that amazed me about the robot is how it keeps the pool floor spotless. It gets a lot of the fine stuff I can barely see.
I also just a SWG after debating it with my self for a few years

I've had my swg for a little over a year but took me 5 years to figure out how good it would be... wondered what else I was missing out on so I'm happy to say I went VS pump and robot within the next year!

there is just under 8 ft of water between the twig and the main drain. If it wasn’t for the water movement blurring it, you could tell that the screws are phillips and not flathead.

You all need to actually put water in your pools. Using Photoshop to alter the photos just isn't right.

In all seriousness, all great looking pools with clear water. Getting your water to this level is easy... anyone can do it by following TFP methods.

This is a very useful thread. I assume the pool pump is off when determining if the pool water is clear or crystal clear

Not always. Mine was off simply because I only have one skimmer and had my vacuum connected (just finished). But some others look to have their pressure/suction cleaner going. Those with robots may/may not have had the pump on. Wind effects how the water looks (from above) as well.
