The ground in Phoenix is hard and doesn't really absorb water which is why we have so many problems with flooding as it all runs off. So it should dry out quickly and if you pump out the standing water they should be able to get back on the job soon.

Talked to PB late yesterday, he had swung by during the day and saw the mess. Goal is to get the crew back out to mine on Friday (no addition heavy rain) and get back on track. He mentioned about another customer having wall failures as they were earlier in the stage than mine. 
So all re-work done, pending inspection today and HOPING to get it shot within 24 hours to be the next major storm coming to AZ (Now Hurricane Odile).

Was it just digging out and resetting rebar or was there any equipment problems? I noticed some exposed plumbing. Did that all get filled back in?

Not, not all recovered but should be OK?
Passed inspection, shooting tomorrow and LOTS of rain coming, so I shouldn't have to "water" the pool.

Yay, its all gravy now. Even if it rains while they shoot! Although once they shot ours, it completely caused all the rain to go around us so we still had to water. I actually quite liked doing it, I got to get in my pool...
Not sure if you plan on being home or if you've ever seen gunite work done before but it is WICKED COOL

We are the 2nd to get shot tomorrow and I plan to cut my work day short (easy when you arrive around 6am) to come home and see it in progress.
Wife just called and so much for being second house, gunite guys are there setting up and waiting on the trucks to arrive!

The pool will look really big. And then you fill it with water and it looks much smaller...

That looks great! Sorry you missed out on the fun but now it all starts to come together and look pretty. Water it good for the next week or so and it'll start to blossom into one of those fabled 'pool flowers' lol.
I've watered several times since the pour and will continue to do so after more of a chat with my PB.I can't get over how many floor jets there are in other people's pools. you have one on each step!
Now that I see some of the wider angle shots, what's your plan for fencing off the pool? Looks like it takes up most of your backyard. Are you going to just fence off your back porch?

zero pool fence (main gate always has a lock), we don't have kids - only German Shepherds.
