New fill water test. 15000 gal pebble tech phoenix az i use clorine tabbs abd have cartridge filters

Local pool store. Looking at kits to do it my self
Use pool math to figure out how to raise your CYA to 30. Add dry stabilizer in the amount pool math tells you. Use the sock method.

You then need to raise your FC to 6-8. Use liquid chlorine. Use pool math for the amount. When the sock hits the pool, raise your FC to 6-8 and keep it there.

Get the kit ordered. Here are the recommended kits. Link-->Test Kits Compared

Thank you. Always rely upon others to test. Want to goto salt system if it makes sense

Always rely upon others to test.
Pool stores and strips are notoriously inaccurate. Get a kit and rely on yourself.

Just a heads up too. I know you are asking and learning about adjusting your chemicals, but I wanted to throw in some pool Maintenace as well. Your Pebble Tech will shed a lot of small pebbles in the first few months. I would vacuum the pool as much as possible for the first 3 months and then clean your filters. You will discover a lot of debris in your filter from the pebble tech. Also you will see the pH rise a lot the first year. Just be sure to have muriatic acid on hand to keep it in check. Finally after all your other chemicals (i.e., chlorine, pH, Alkaline, etc.) are adjusted, I would recommend not raising your calcium too much past 300ppm. The pebble tech will leach out calcium for the first year and raise it naturally for you.

Ok, I will return you to your regularly scheduled program. :) I just wanted to give you some extra advice from one who has and LOVES his pebble tech.
