Intex filter won’t turn on.

I just bought intex 15x48 prism frame above ground frame. I used the filter twice without incident. The 3rd time I turned it on it made a loud churning noise for 20 seconds and then shut off. It hasn’t turned on since.

Unplug it, remove the filter if it has a filter cartridge- if its a sand filter remove the pump basket & check to be sure nothing is lodged in there anywhere - like pine needles or foreign objects near the impeller- if it looks good replace cartridge or basket & lid & unscrew the little doohickey on the topof thelid a little Until water comes out to then retighten. Try to run it again. You may have had air in it . If this works great ?? if not u may have a dud

Consider this an opportunity to get a real pump and filter. Those little cartridge filters that come with Intex and Bestway pools are sheer crud.
