Help with backwashing Hayward sand filter

Hey all, new to the forum here 👋 I recently bought a house with a pool and have been doing all maintenance myself, following the TFP method. It’s all going great!

The only thing I can’t quite figure out, is how to backwash my sand filter. I’ve searched the forum and watched a bunch of videos, but the set up of my filter seems different than most others I’m seeing. I don’t see the valve that most tigers tend to have. I’ve attached some pictures that might help.

I figured it out with everyone’s help. Thank you so much! I read a lot about TFP on Reddit when I was buying this house. Everyone spoke so highly of the community, now I know why. Thanks!
