Hello, might be a dumb question, but I have a 34,000 gallon inground grecian pool with vinyl liner, wondering how many BTU's i need with a propane heater, and which brands are better?. Thank you in advance.
That's a huge pool water wise gonna be pricey to heat it up with propane. A heat pump would probably be cheaper. Any gas heater can convert for propane you will need the big 400k btu models to make a dent in temperature. I'm a big fan of raypak and the cupro nickel models.

Next time I'm at the inlaws I'll snap a pic of their 20x40 monster with TWO heat pumps. One is a regular one and the other is the new style that is AC for your house and dumps the heat to your pool. Their AC took a poop so they spent some bucks but it works
