A Houston Pool Build Inside the Loop

And paint that sewer pipe to match your plaster and you'll hardly notice it in there.

I'm sure you must be so excited to see that big hole in your backyard! I remember that feeling well.

Denise, no we haven't picked tile, coping or stone. That will probably be next. The PB doesn't think we will have any problem matching the driveway pavers, so I am thinking maybe a silver travertine for the coping, or something that has gray in it.

Plaster will be PebbleSheen Blue Surf with luminous beads. They include shells in their price so we'll only be paying extra for the beads.

Yes it seems to be going very quickly now. I'm sure after gunite it will slow down because they will have to finish the electrical and plumbing.

Nice the see the measurements look good!

WOW! They are moving FAST! You are in the home stretch! Get your hose ready for some "bonding time" with your pool!

I like your picks! If they cannot match the existing just go for a contrast so it looks like you meant to do it that way.

The shells are part of your package? NICE!

Marian, actually I'm not a quick decision picker. I asked the PB about it earlier, and he has places to take us for tile and coping. But we can't do anything, at least I feel, until we're sure those pavers can be matched. They are going to send out one of their staff who is really good at being able to recognize brands of tile and pavers. Since they were installed about 10 years ago (maybe less) we only remember what company did it but not the color.

Waiting for the gunite truck... Hubby went to get kolaches for them. We fed the others (excavation and steel crews) tacos, so thought we'd switch it up.
