Funny you mention that - the FG manufactures pitch these as rinks in the winter.

Rain all day today. So nothing planned. First rain for the month of March actually. Retaining wall blocks delivered. 30 x 4' and 2 x 2'. It will be a right angle wall about 30' long in both directions. 2 courses high.
We are all ready for the next step.

Wish me luck. Tomorrow we take pool out and reset. I have few different things planned so we don't repeat history. We will also be doing 80% of the retaining wall. Decided to leave a few blocks out to keep our access road to the very end.

I am not commenting on how level the pool is until it is filled with water. Don't want to jinx myself but fingers crossed we don't have to do round 3. substrate was compacted and level to better than 1/8" verified by laser and zip level. if the pool is not straight now, I may need a prescription.

WET day for sure! BUT maybe that helped get the bottom all set and ready for the pool!
