Dolphin M600 vs Dolphin Sigma. Difficult decision with regard to cleaning ability

I have been using my Sigma since March 2021 works great except I only get my 3rd step cleaned every other trip. It was on sale for $1,100 and has a 3-year warranty. I run it every day from May-Oct. then program it for 3 days a week in the winter when it is covered most of the time. It is great...

    circu pool core series swg

I installed my Core 55 myself and added a flow meter. 25%-50% settings are perfect using a timer to to make sure it comes on after the pump and turns off prior to the pump.

PH rises within 2-3 days after muriatic acid

My pool was done and filled last March. Just now getting some stability with ph and one gal of Home Depot MA works for about 8 days. In the beginning, it was 2 of those a week.

Dolphin S400 vs M600 vs Sigma

Have had my Sigma for a bit over a year, Love it. Does not get stuck on my drain cleans all but the top step of three. Does a great job cleaning the walls and tile plus my 5-foot bench and the tile behind that? Plus keeps one of my dogs busy chasing the monster. I keep it in the pool 24/7...

Pebbletec salt pool with no SWG

You are in Stockton. I suggest you go with the SWG as you will burn through liquid chlorine on an almost daily basis.

    CYA testing question..

All I can say is using the larger bottle & tube vs the Old Way seems to work much better for me.

    CYA testing question..

No need to buy the whole kit unless your CYA is under 20 or over 100ppm. Just purchase the bottle #9194 and Graduated Tube #9193. You should already have the CYA Reagent.

    CYA testing question..

Taylor has a New CYA Kit K-1720. I just purchased bottle #9194 and Graduated Tube #9193. You use a double the Reagent but I swear it is much easier to read. It is like testing for FC using 25ML vs 10ML. I had thought I was at 70ppm turns out it is 60ppm so bringing it up right now.

This is great - Nextdoor some lady posted : every summer our pool gets algae. We have a pool man and he always has a reason.

There are 67 comments about 29 are here is our pool guy, 3 take water to Leslies and they will give you some chemicals. 15 are blind suggestions with no idea what the pool chemistry is. One person asked if they let the dog swim because that could be the issue. 6 were pool guys that offered their...

Not understanding the lure of robotic cleaners..

I started with the Polaris 380 with a booster pump - wasted a lot of electricity. Then went to a Polaris 360 worked well less cost. Neither was great at the waterline cleaning and no Polaris pump or suction cleaner was getting the fine dirt. My Dolphin not only cleans the waterline but I use...

Question about Borates for 1st time.

Sorry, should have been more specific. You got some replies that not as positive using Borates even suggesting it is not a chemical TFP encourages but that would be wrong and it still a recommended chemical in pool school.
