Wondering what you all do when winterizing your equipment. Do you leave your Intellivalve hooked up and wired in? Or do you take it out and disconnect from IntelliCenter during the winter period? I keep everything out with the exception of my salt cell.

For every time I have added stabilizer in my skimmer sock, I get this brown residue. Is this just an undissolved stabilizer? Is this normal? Should I replace the sock? Or leave as is until it is gone (assuming it is stabilizer).

So...I know salt doesnt evaporate. But in the case where water evaporates, doesnt refilling the pool eventually dilutes the salt in the pool given that fresh water is being added? If my pool is losing salt, is the only reason a potential leak?
