The pool service company did you a favor by not showing up...forget the pool companies/stores and trust the folks here. The folks here will save you a lot of time, money and headaches.

Whats the best way to raise CH? According to Pool Math, I need to dump 25lbs of calcium chloride in the pool to go from 200 to 300. Recommend levels show CH from 350-400, why just get it to 300? Also, how do I add to pool? Just scatter around the pool edges, dump in deep end, etc...?
