Stay on this Helen. Inspect everything that the electrician does and make sure to raise any concern, no matter how small, to the PB. You are in the right here and it's up to the PB to fix anything you don't like.
For example, when the electrician is done hooking up to your main panel, pull the front of the panel off and look at how it is wired. Make sure he did not try to splice any wiring into existing lines or double-up wires running into breakers. I've seen some crazy, hack-job wiring done in various places I've lived. Check every detail you can think of. If you think it's not right, take a picture and post it. We have lots of members on here who are excellent electricians and can spot a hoopty-job from a mile away.
