You want to be sure all plumbing is rigid pvc. You want home runs from each skimmer and from the main drain for perfect control along with jandy never lube valves. You want the SWCG to be minimum 2X pool capacity and what size pipe for each run. And one more, a bypass for the heater utilizing one diverter valve and a check valve.

This price is very cheap. Make sure they have references.
So my wife does not want to get inground pool. Burst my bubble . She want either semi inground or above ground.
IMO nothing like and inground pool but I'm sure it's a bit more expensive them semi or above ground.
Any opinion on whether semi in ground vs above ground? Thanks

You will likely get a bunch of answers...two that come to mind.
A fence is typically required around a semi-inground pool, as it is considered an "in-ground pool" and most local building codes mandate fencing for any pool that is partially or fully below ground level, regardless of depth; always check your local regulations for specific requirements; you may need to include a fence.
Slope. Either pool should be on undisturbed ground. If you have a slope, you may need to dig some anyway to get to undisturbed ground.

For insurance purposes, most will want a fence around any type of pool.
Got it but as far as enjoying , entertaining etc. is semi inground better then above ground.
It does not really matter if they are above or semi so long as there is a deck of some sort to use outside the pool.
To me a semi inground is an above ground that is shorter to have to climb into. Once you're in it, you don't see any difference.
Aestheticly speaking, a shorter wrap around deck or retaining wall looks nicer to most.
The semi inground may creep into inground costs, depending on how crazy you go around it, vs just getting a stand alone above ground with a small platform / ladder.
Check this thread and search for similar threads with this model. A bunch should come up. I had one and it was an absolute tank. When I tore it down, the parts in the ground came out as new as the day they were buried.

The price seems reasonable for Long Island, especially for a steel wall pool. I built mine in 2021 and received over 10 quotes from both concrete and steel wall builders. Last year, I helped two friends build their pools using the same builder. In the end, I believe concrete walls are the better option, but my builder was very accommodating and easy to work with—though he only constructs steel wall pools. Back in 2021, the cost difference between steel walls and concrete was about $6,000. All my equipment and pool pic is in my signature. Good luck

Price is phenomenal if they do a good job. We paid that 30 years ago for a hybrid pool!

The contracts, WRT equipment are different.
Make sure you get make/model numbers in the contract.
Get the 400K BTU heater. You have to make sure the meter and the piping can handle the BTU. May require an upgrade to existing gas feed.
Get at least a 425 SqFt cartridge filter.
I'd ask for a Hayward Triton 900 or Triton 950 for the pump.

Thank you very much. What do you mean by "The contracts, WRT equipment are different."
If I were you, try to get the autopilot SWG. It adjusts output of SWG according to temp. Its a nice feature.
