I have a Jandy RS4 control board that went out. Due to this board no longer being made which I am sure most of you know. My questions is can I upgrade to a RS8 but just swapping it out or is there something else I need to be aware of?

So is the program on the RS4/6/8 board or is it part of the wireless add-on? Assuming its the former which if it is, is the easiest way to do this by basically documenting every page in the web portal and recreating it on the new board?

All the Aqualink programming is on the board. You need to go through the screens and write down or take pictures of the settings.
No, but an RS4 probably didn't have too much programming to begin with.
