When can you swim after Florida gem?

My pool is set to have the Florida Gem applies Tuesday. How long until I can actually swim in the pool?! It’s been a long & hot 3 months in Florida waiting for this pool!!

What does your PB say? It depends on what start up they use and their start up instructions.

Now having said that there are some PB that have this written into their directions:

-As soon as the water reaches the middle of the skimmer face JUMP IN!

BUT if your PB says nope listen to him as HE holds the warranty card!

Thanks Kim! While my builder’s work is fantastic, the communication is lacking. And I’m having company visiting on the 16th so i was panicking a bit thinking it may not be ready! Haha

You should be able to swim within a few days of a fill.

You have a TF-100:Test Kit or K-2006C test kit ready to check the water? Download PoolMath and log all tests and chemicals added by the PB and you.

The water will be right from my hose which is city water.

When you get your test kit, test your house water for pH, TA, CH. That will give us a good idea of what adjustments your water will need after filling.
