I have compressed air, a shut off valve, and a pressure gauge (in that order) that I want to connect to these plugs. That way, while I still have all the winter plugs in the plumbing, I can apply pressure to each pipe and see if it holds pressure. I did the bucket leak test last year and it showed a small leak, plus my calcium hardness and CYA dropped over the summer, but over the winter with everything shut off and plugged up the vessel holds water, so it seems like its a leak in the plumbing somewhere.

I wouldn't think the supplier made these threaded sections specifically, so they are probably used somewhere else in the world, and it would be cheaper and faster to find what that is for and just buy something. But I have thought about just calling the local CNC shop to make me a fitting that will screw onto the top of these plugs and adapt to something easier to connect to, like NPT.

Ok so just to recap, the new basket(s) was a hair too small and got lodged below the skimmer housing lip. If so, it'll Jimmy out the same way it went in, and your patience level will determine how long you try to get it out gently.

I'd start from scratch and build my own frankenplug. The couple of bucks spent would be worth the headache not trying to adapt someone else's product to how I needed.

I agree, but QC was bad that day at the plant & i would prefer returning them bc they're not that old. The ones i had before for fine, these do not

Low TA is good, high TA is bad.

You are past the plaster curing period.

TA of 90 is ok. TA of 50-70 is better.

Post a complete list of your water chemistry.

What test kit are you using?

You using PoolMath?

Can you explain more what you are trying to connect to the plugs and why?

The skimmer basket, instead of fitting into the skimmer basket receptacle evenly at the top lip, has gone below the top to make it cockeyed and sagging in one area that has locked it into place. Does this make sense?

Scheduling is done via the app.. This means you would need the 614iQ and not the 604..

The scheduling was added to the app a month or two after I first got my EVO...

It allows you to schedule individual days and times... it maintains this schedule and just keeps repeating, unlike the Dolphin which you have to set once a week.. And... The real downside to the the Dolphin programming is it will only run at the time you set it up.. So, if you want to run it at 2 am, you have to stay up until 2 am..

Some Dolphins have a 'smart" plug setting where you can connect them to a smart outlet and you can let the outlet turn the robot on or off... As far as I know, the EVO's do not have this option.

You should buy whatever works best for you... I know what works best for me..

Despite my best effort, we had a partial cave-in. No more rain in the forecast. Gunite is scheduled for Monday. PB said gunite crew will shot the top sections to shore up the dirt and then dig out the cave-in.
