Disassembled the multi port valve last year due to leak. Still leaking this year, but I put it together wrong

Well, I ordered a spider gasket. Hope it is the correct one. Will try to plug all the lines to the filter and open up the top of the valve. Any tips, hint, help ..... to find out if I messed up the inside of the multi port selection when I took it apart?

Disassembled the multi port valve last year due to leak. Still leaking this year, but I put it together wrong

My multi port valve developed a leak under the handle last year. After winterizing the pool, I took the multi ported valve apart, reset the spider gasket and put it back together. I also took apart the handle assembly, but did not pay attention on how I put it back together. I suspect I have the...

That rolled up hose is needed as well when you back-wash the filter. Might keep the algaecide 60, and the floater for vacation.

help! my pool cover came off a little...

Clarification: I have an AGP After the last freeze, when the weather starts getting warm & sunny, I reconnect my filter and pump. The cover stays on the whole time during this. I fill up to the middle of the skimmer, start up the pump & filter. Checking and adjusting chemicals every day or so...

    New liner costs

I would prefer the fall. Liner will be pliable, since the weather is warm. Chemicals are dialed in for closing. Spring: Need to wait for warm weather, liner needs to be pliable for installation. Hard to get an appointment, since whole new pool builds are more financially beneficial to the builder.

downside to leaving pool without cover over winter?

I never had an in ground pool, but had some bad covers!!! If leaves get under and sit all winter, it can lead to discolorations. When my liner needed replacing, I left the pool uncovered and everything was ripped out the next spring. The liner was pretty stained, but since it was replaced I...

    Indentation/Depression under liner

My first thought is: Did the previous owner replace the liner, and the installer did not fix the cove before the new installation? (I have all kinds of footprints, dips, divots and indentations in my liner after the did that during my liner replacement.) Do you have auto-fill? Meaning: you...

    Mid Slam…

If water can get inside the steps where the sand is..... Yes, you will get algae. There won't be any circulation getting to those areas. Can you get the sand out? We filled some PVC pipes with gravel and put endcaps on both sides. 3 of those are holding down our steps. Or you can fill empty...

    Hi, I'm Rick

Very true!!! Finally used up the last of my Borax. (In our campers black tank) Baking Soda has many, many more useful purposes. (Vinegar + baking soda for drain cleaning) So, even if you bought it for the pool, eventually it gets used up for other purposes.

    Advice Please

How old is that liner? Mine developed some wrinkles over time due to age. I nursed it along as long as possible, fixing some small tears as they developed, and replacing it when it was absolutely necessary. (Meaning: When we had the money saved up for it!)

Trying to get chlorine pool blue

I use the first empty bleach bottle of the year & cut a large opening under the handle. After that I pour in 3 cups water, use a sharpie to mark a level all the way around, repeat at 6 cups, 9 cups etc. (I do remove the label first) I use this as my personalized measuring jug.

    Error in judgment.

I use empty bleach bottles, filled with gravel & topped off with bleach, to weigh down my steps. My husband also made me some 20" long PVC pipes, filled with concrete & capped off on both ends.
