I am new here we had travertine decking laid about 8 weeks ago it has a lot of hollow areas and the pavers have broken at the corners of the hollow areas. Should we have the whole pulled up and done again.

Hi I had travertine pavers installed on my deck I have 9 or 10 sections that are hollow and are moving. They have also broken at these areas around the edges.
I am still under contract and the pool contractor is going to fix the areas that are hollow. I feel like the whole area should be redone as I keep finding more and more sections every day that are hollow. Advice would be great they put down sand underneath before they installed the pavers I’m so frustrated as the patio was 13000.

It sounds like they did not properly compact that area under the deck. Do you have any pics of the work they did before they put the deck down?
