we had our pool finished a little over a month ago. Pb installed whisperflo vst instead of contracted intelliflo vsf. We were able to withhold $1500 from the payments since it was not the correct pump.
Now what is available is the intelliflo 3 vsf our pb is offering. We would pay the $1500 get the new pump and that would make our contract whole.

There's not tons of info out there on it. Wondering if it's worth it to get the new pump because it's better than the whisperflo that's already installed.

White plaster
Raised spa
Two story roof top solar

Do you have automation? Is the Whisperflo connected to the automation?

The Intelliflo is more powerful and thus may be better for the spa.

S,

Keep in mind that the HP rating provided by Allen above is the new HP rating.

The old HP rating for the IntelliFlo was 3 HP so that means the old HP rating for the IntelliFlo3 is closer to 1.8 or 2 HP, if you are trying to compare apples to apples.

Thanks,

Jim R.

One other difference to consider is that the VST has the same control as the Superflo VSP. You need the right cable (usually hard to get) and the correct software revision to get the control to "talk" to the pump unless it is already hooked up.

apparently the intellipro3 is all wireless. Its a new model, not to be confused with the original intellipro vsf which was 3.95 THP. This new one is a THP 3 ( I believe).
Trying to see if its worth it to get the newer intellipro3 vsf model vs the whisperflo. They are both pretty new to the market so hoping to get some good insight.
