TF-100 Chlorine Cylinder Losing Markings?

I also have the same issue with the chlorine one. Seeing this thread makes me wonder if the powder is the culprit.

I usually keep that little spoon in the same compartment as the chlorine only tube, and there is a small amount of residual powder from the spoon in the bottom of that compartment that I've been meaning to clean out but haven't. Maybe that is somehow stripping the paint off the vial

I keep mine the same way. Lol. I rinse my spoon off each time and let everything dry on a towel overnight usually. But like I said mine last 2 seasons at least.

Go out and buy a couple of the Taylor vials and be done with it. They are a tad bit harder to read, so a drop of paint at 10 mL and 25 mL is all it needs to fix that.

Mine did that. Bought a brand new one this year, and in less that a week the markings were almost gone. I contacted TFtestkits and they sent out a new cylinder, which was nice. Unfortunately, it arrived broken. So I dug out my old one and have been using it all summer with no problems - markings sill there - just a cloudy cylinder. Must have got a bad batch of them?
