I am in the final stage of a SLAM. Water is clear, no change in chlorine over night, but CC is 1. I was hoping to be done because I am having a party today. I know my ph is low but can't test becuase of SLAM. Do I just keep doing what I'm doing and let people swim, or do I let chlorine come down from shock level and test ph and raise?

How do you know your pH is low and how low do you think it is? The pH test is not accurate above 10FC.

When I started the SLAM I got the ph to 7.2. Will I get an accurate ph reading if I'm still SLAMMING? And should I bring the ph up if I am still SLAMMING?
No you won't get an accurate reading at an FC greater than 10. So the idea is to lower it to 7.2 at the beginning of the SLAM and then re-adjust after you complete it.
