First Time SLAM

On the light, do you mean around the edges of the light cover? Or are you saying disassemble the light altogether?
This applies only if you have a large-sized light that is set into a hollow niche. The smaller niche-less LEDs lights do not require removal. The larger light usually has one screw at the 12 O'clock position that holds the retaining ring in place. Once the ring is removed, you can usually pull the light bulb fixture completely out and set it up on the deck so that you can clean in the niche. Make sure power to the light is OFF.

Passed the OCLT this morning (finally). I thought I had read to maintain SLAM levels for 24 more hours to be safe, but now can’t find it. Is this the recommended method and if so, do I need to OCLT test again tomorrow morning?

No. We only maintain the SLAM level only as long as needed to pass the 3 SLAM criteria or passing the OCLT, 0.5CC or less, and crystal clear water.

You might be thinking of the 24 hr Mustard Algae elevation treatment period.

Perfect. Special thanks to you for the support on this process. If you ever find yourself in Central IL, beer is on me!
