Yes, but maybe not the way you might. I use it constantly to help others.
For SWG
Generally, I know the % by month to run the pool. My pool has a solar cover and we swim a couple times a day. In June for example my daily FC demand is 2-2.5. and I run 24/7, so I run 20%. When I have swimmers, I up the % by 20% from the time I pull the cover until the evening when I put the pool together. Open the pool I bump it to 40% or 50%, and turn it back in the evening when we put the cover back on. 40% if it is just me and overcast, 50% if the family is hear and sunny.
The point, I suppose, is that after you understand what your pool wants, it's not about the EXACT numbers so much. When you run FC in the recommended range, you have wide latitude more horseshoes and Hand grenades. If you are running near minimums, a 1.5 difference in demand is an issue. Running the top of the recommended range, if I'm off by 1-2 FC, it is no big deal.
