Searching a single thread

When I try to search a single thread, all threads are searched. Is there a way to do that?

The search bar has a dropdown with "This thread" option - does that work?

No, if you try it, the results are for all threads.

Must be a bug in Xenforo then, has it worked before?

It's due to the google search addon. You can't search within a single thread but you can search for a single thread if you recall the thread title (or part of it). Have to go into advanced and use the tab search threads. May want to check the box "search titles only" or don't check it if you're looking for specific keywords and it will search all threads. You can even tell it which forum(s) to search in.

Dang, came into this support forum to report/search for this same issue and hopefully find a resolution. Scrolling through a 24 page thread (Vinyl Liner Roundup) looking for posts containing specific liner names is time consuming!
