Riverside, CA - Backyard Overhaul

What’s going on the dirt between the house and pool when all is said & done? Pavers? Concrete? Crushed glass with embedded rusty nails?

My best guess is coming in around 6500 sq ft of concrete so anything other than that is really going to break the bank. Pavers would be incredible though

Ooof, that’s A LOT of concrete to pour.

Just fill it all in with playground pea gravel and call it a day....

I have a half court next to my pool as well...honestly it doesn’t get enough use to justify its existence. I’ve often dreamed of taking a jackhammer to it and doing something different with the space. I’d say if there’s a park nearby go play a pickup game there and leave the yard for other endeavors. But, to each his own....

Where do you store all of your man-toys ?? Is there a secret man-cave on the Casa de Davis ranch?

Most is in here. It's 1500 sq ft which is about half of what is needed. I have a 20x12 single car garage that houses the cabinet saw and cut station.

For a comparison - here's what the ranch looked like before I got my hands on it....

Do you hold that by hand?? How heavy is it? Do you move the saw or the wood when you cut it? Will Wanger get to play with that new toy???

Kim:kim:

It weighs 40 pounds and you run it by hand. It's designed for the wood to be stationary which is a good thing since a couple of the beams are upward of 300 pounds.

Wanger isn't allowed to touch this saw...
