Hello,

When my pool is in “Auto” mode, I don’t have the option to control the speed of the pump using the speed control panel (1-4). It only allows me to change it when I set it to “Service” mode.

What can I do?

Thank you!

A,

Well, you can use the EasyTouch like it was designed..

When in Auto, the EasyTouch controls the pump.. That is why the pump's display shows "Display not active"..

Tell me how you use the EasyTouch.. Do you have Pentair Remotes or ScreenLogic on your phone or PC?

The EasyTouch changes the speed of the pump based on what Circuits are on.

I can tell you more, if you can tell me how you control your EasyTouch..

Thanks,

Jim R.

A,

I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow and have to get up at 5 am. So I need to call it a night.

I won't get back on line until about noon tomorrow..

I'll be glad to walk you through it tomorrow, if no one follows up tonight.

Thanks,

Jim R.

You need to go into the pump menu where you have options over there when only the filter pump is on such as a pressure side cleaner or the heater. Pump menu and pick pump #1 then there are choices to set up

A,

I'm going to show you ScreenLogic pics, just to give you an overview of what we need to do..

Basically, you make your Pool Circuit the slowest speed you ever want to run, and then you add Feature Circuits to increase the pump speed.

If you look at the pics below, you can see where I have set my Pool Circuit to 1200, Feature 1 to 1400, Feature 2 to 2000 and Waterfall to 2700

When the pump sees two or more speeds, it will always run the fastest on...

Since you only have the little LCD to program, you need to do the following..

Menu, Settings, IntelliFlo, Pump 1... Pump Type should be VS.. (Do not change it at this point).. Let me know if not correct. Select Speeds, and you will see something like this..

1/8 (with the 1 flashing)
RPM... 1200
[Pool] This means the Pool circuit will run at 1200 RPM..

Use the up/dn buttons to scroll through all 8 speed locations, 1/8, 2/8 etc and tell me want RPM and what Circuits you see at each location.

Also think about how many speeds you want and what speeds you want.. You don't need all 8.. I only have 4..

Thanks,

Jim R.
