I have Jandy VS (variable speed pump). What speed should I set the pump to run the Polaris 280 cleaner with booster pump?. It is currently set at 3450 RPM. Thank you
I suspect it will take a pretty high rpm to run the Polaris, but 3450 rpm may be a little high. The exact speed would depend on your setup and plumbing.
I would drop the speed down to 3000 rpm and see how the cleaner works. I would continue dropping it until the cleaner has an issue and then ramp it back up to where it works again.
If the Polaris is being driven by a booster pump, then you absolutely don’t need the VSP running at full speed (3450 RPM is full speed). Try running it at half that speed.
