pump speed for pool cleaner

c,

I suspect it will take a pretty high rpm to run the Polaris, but 3450 rpm may be a little high. The exact speed would depend on your setup and plumbing.

I would drop the speed down to 3000 rpm and see how the cleaner works. I would continue dropping it until the cleaner has an issue and then ramp it back up to where it works again.

Thanks for posting

If the Polaris is being driven by a booster pump, then you absolutely don’t need the VSP running at full speed (3450 RPM is full speed). Try running it at half that speed.

Tried 1725 and it was too slow. Noticeably better at 2000 I may go up just a little bit more, FYI.
