That is SO pretty! What kind/type of stone is that? Is it as smooth as it looks? Is this something you already knew about or did they show it to you as something special they do? That is so neat and different!

Yeah I’m with Kim, that is very different and cool looking. What is the rest of the decking going to be?


It's an exposed aggregate finish that includes white crushed marble. This is being used for the coping and the top of the spa too. For the pool decking itself, we will be using the same technique, but the stone will be a darker colour. The finish isn't super smooth but around the top of the spa they will polish it so that its smooth.

Day #19 has no video. The crew spent the day stripping the forming from the coping. It looks great! Couple of pictures attached.

They will be passing a grinder over the pebble to smooth it out and then start on the form for the spa.
