Pool plumbing lifespan and pool renovations

Are there any plumbing products designed to seal/fix underground pipes that are 20+ years old? I need to re-do my liner but the price keeps growing the company wants to redo all the plumbing, move the skimmer to the other side which is more accessible to dig then under concrete decking, etc. etc. but if the pool holds water and passes pressure tests and it's original to the house but like 20-30 years old does it all just need to be replaced too?

I can see this being a major job if they have to dig everything up and then cut into concrete pool decking...

If it's 20-30 years old, it should have rigid PVC plumbing. If so, there's no need to replace it if it's working properly. If its flexible PVC, then that's different.

It looks like where the hole is in the pool pad going underground towards the pool the rigid PVC meets rubber tubing type stuff, does that mean they aren't using copper or rigid PVC underground? And if so, is it just cheaper and people don't bother...?
