Pool noob, need replacement pump control

Hi all! First-time pool owners, just bought a house that came with a Pentair SuperFlo pump model 340039. The previous owners apparently set a timer for it to run 2 AM-2 PM, which is fine, but we'd like the option to run it manually outside those hours.

I've searched everywhere and cannot find a control panel near the thing, or on the wall, or a remote control abandoned in the pool shed, bupkis. Which leads me to suspect I need a new control panel, but I'm having a hard time figuring out which ones will work with the pump.

Hi, where is the power panel for the equipment, most likely that's where your timer will be.

Here's the whole setup plus what I'm pretty sure are unrelated boxes on the far house wall over the fence (posting just in case).

Welcome to the forum!
There are several timer boxes near the electric panel. Check to see if any of those control the pump timing.
I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry.
