I’m a new pool owner! Since we really don’t close pools here, just use them less, are there any special steps AZ pool owners should take during the colder months? Thanks!

Maintain your FC using the FC/CYA Levels
Test and manage pH in the 7's.

Really, nothing that you do not do normally. The FC loss lessens. Once your SWCG quits generating at ~50F water temperature, test FC weekly and add some liquid chlorine as needed.
