New pool build in LV

So you are recommending a separate 1" line to each deck jet. Running a 2" or 2.5" line which then splits into 6 after 100ft wouldn't work as good? Meaning I should have 6 valves instead of 1
With separate lines, you can adjust the jets individually to make sure they are all balanced and you can run 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 jets depending on what effect you want.

Running a single line almost always results in unequal flow to individual jets and even a slight difference can be annoying.

3/4" and 1" PVC is cheap, so not a big deal to run individual lines.

I'm no expert. Just wanted to pass on that deck jets seem to have big head loss. I need to run our Intelliflo 2.7hp at 3150 rpm with a clean filter to get a 3 foot arc of water for 5 jets. The pump is pretty loud at that speed. Kills the joy a bit. Manually turning down the pool returns helps, too, but defeats the idea of automation.
It sounds to me like you are sharing the pool circulation with the jets. The issue you are having is basically due to an improper flow balance between the returns and the jets. This is going to happen with multiple features of differing head loss. However, you should be able to automatically adjust the flow balance when using the jets with your current automation (i.e. actuators and a spare valve control or Aux control).

Yeah I read the manual, too. There are no ball valves. Just one JVA on a 2" pipe branched from the pool return. They must split underground. The current setup is totally fine except for the nit of being able to hear the pump a bit. (Normally it's inaudible.) Guess I'm lucky; the 5 are well-balanced.

Does that single valve control the split between the returns and the deck jets? If so, you might be able to automate that.

I had sometime to look up the remaining equipment and would be happy to get your feedback on it. I still have to look into the IntelliCenter and make sure that all pumps, etc. are compatible with it. I am also not exactly sure on which filter to get for the sheers yet.

Any feedback at all is highly appreciated! :)

For solar, you should have a check valve right after the filter and before the solar valve. This is to prevent the panels from drain backwards through the filter. It is also a good idea to have a check valve on the solar return so the panels do not fill when the solar valve is off.

Why do you have the IntelliCenter and IntelliConnect both listed?

@ajw22 my understanding was that the IntelliCenter was the automation hub and IntelliConnect was still needed to connect it with the phone not just the remote. I will look into that again.

That is not correct. The IntelliConnect is a low end automation system.

The IntelliCenter has built in network connectivity and its own phone app. Look up IntelliCenter2 app in the App Store.

Here is my updated equipment list based on a few recommendations:

Does anyone have a recommendation for a wall drain to sheer water filter? Right now I have the pentair clean and clear 200 sq. ft. but I would prefer a lighter weight solution. It's not the main filter just for the case something gets into the wall drain. It needs to be able to push 135 GPM through.

521903 is the IntelliCenter System (Load Center with i8PS Personality Kit) but you list it as IntelliConnect.

Your equipment list shows 7 IntelliValves. The i8PS will control 4 Intellivalves. For more you need P/N 522038Z Valve Expansion Card.

Hello there again fellow ePoolSupply supporters! Pentair has recently decided to only continue with the newer generation of pumps and discontinue all older generations. They are going forward with the next generation of pool pumps. Pentair recently released the IntelliFlo3 and Intellipro3 family of variable speed and flow pool pumps. This next generation of pool pumps builds on the industry leading features of the previous generations and now includes additional value-add features, such as:

Connectivity
Remote monitoring
Increased energy efficient
Additional application possibilities
With this transition to the IntelliFlo3 and IntelliPro3, Pentair will no longer be accepting new orders for previous generations of IntelliFlo and IntelliPro VS and VSF products starting October 3, 2022. The VS +SVRS pool pumps currently in production will remain available for order. Starting October 3, Pentair will increase our supply capacity of existing models and will reduce quarterly restrictions to allow increased order quantities for the IntelliFlo3, IntelliPro3, and WhisperFlo VST products.

The pumps staying:
IntelliFlo3 (011075)
IntelliFlo3 With I/O Board (011076)
IntelliFlo VS+SVRS (011057)
WhisperFloXF VS (022035)
WhisperFlo VST (011533)
SuperFlo VST (342002)
IntelliPro3 (013075)
IntelliPro3 With I/O Board (013076)
IntelliPro VS+SVRS (013002)
Max-E-ProXF VS (023035)
SuperMax VS (343001)

The pumps getting discontinued:

IntelliFloXF VSF (022056)
IntelliProXF VSF (023056)
IntelliPro VSF (013004)
IntelliFlo VSF (011056)
IntelliFlo i1 VS (011059)
IntelliFlo i2 VS (011060)
